Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting the Galleri Magnus Karlsson, a beautiful space located right next to the Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm. It’s one of those places that, although centrally located, offers a nice atmosphere perfect for art lovers.
During my visit, the gallery was hosting an exhibition by Lisa Jonasson. Her exhibition unfolded an exotic universe, one that felt unique in its expression. Jonasson’s pieces were presented in a multifaceted way, blending collages, paintings, and sculptures that seemed to come together in a dialogue, creating a world full of details and layers. Each artwork felt like a chapter of a larger story, pulling you into a complex and harmonious narrative.

What struck me the most was how easy it was to get lost in the space. The gallery’s layout — spacious, luminous, and peaceful — made it a perfect environment for spending time with the art. I found myself lingering on each piece, reflecting on its meaning and absorbing the emotional depth of Jonasson’s universe. It was one of those exhibitions where time seems to slow down for you to reflect about the artist’s vision.

If you’re in Stockholm, don’t miss out on this gallery. It’s a true art gem in the middle of the city, where you can lose yourself in the beauty and complexity of contemporary art.
